Eleanor Alford, oboe

Eleanor Alford is an oboist studying under Max Blair, the associate principal oboist for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and she plays in the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra. She will be attending the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in the fall of 2024, and is currently taking a gap year to work and organize the funding for her tuition. Eleanor also hosts a podcast, The Confident Musicianing Podcast, where she offers strategies to younger musicians for practicing, auditioning, and performing.
